Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist (Collections) for a 6-month remote assignment. You will manage an assigned portfolio, perform outbound collections, and collaborate with sales teams to ensure timely collections while maintaining customer relations.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in credit/collections or AR, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote, EST-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in credit/collections or customer-facing AR
• Experience with outbound collections calls required
• Strong analytical, investigative and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and business software systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Manage portfolio of accounts and collect receivables by analyzing open balances and contacting customers
• Achieve Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and past-due invoice goals
• Resolve billing errors, cash application discrepancies, and reconciling accounts
• Address and resolve customer claims and disputed items; provide feedback to reduce future errors
• Analyze payment trends and escalation issues; place accounts on credit hold when appropriate
• Provide guidance on exposure and risk related to accounts receivable
• Handle calls, chat, and email during peak periods to support productivity
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in the department
