Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist for a 6‑month remote assignment supporting Client's commercial customers. The role involves outbound collections calls, portfolio management, and timely resolution of receivables while keeping open lines of communication with customers and sales teams.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in credit/collections or AR, proficiency in MS Excel/Office, and strong analytical and negotiation skills to minimize losses and improve

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 2+ years in credit/collections or AR role.
• Experience with outbound collections calls.
• Proficiency in MS Office and business software systems.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage portfolio of accounts and collect receivables.
• Aim for DSOs and past-due invoice goals.
• Resolve billing errors and cash application discrepancies.
• Handle customer claims and disputed items; provide feedback.
• Monitor payment trends and escalate issues as needed.
• Place accounts on credit hold when appropriate.
• Communicate risk related to accounts receivable.
• Coordinate with sales and operations during peak periods.
• Participate in department process improvements.
