Job summary

LT Selection is looking for a Support Improvement Specialist Level 5 to mentor and coach apprentices remotely. You will deliver structured improvement methods, assess progress, and guide learners through Gateway and EPA with dedicated feedback and development targets.

You will work with employers and internal teams to ensure high learner outcomes, maintain portfolios, and follow quality and safeguarding requirements in a flexible remote setting.

Qualifications

• Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above (AET/PTLLS or equivalent).
• Level 3 assessor qualification (CAVA or equivalent).
• Experience guiding learners in workplace improvement projects and EPA preparation.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, process mapping and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Deliver virtual teaching and coaching, adapting to apprentices’ needs and workplace practice.
• Assess knowledge and provide timely feedback and development targets.
• Prepare apprentices for Gateway and EPA and verify evidence against requirements.
• Maintain e-portfolio records and complete monthly teaching/learning visit records.
• Support progress with employers, mentors and QA colleagues; ensure learner wellbeing and outcomes.
• Follow apprenticeship funding rules, safeguarding and quality requirements.
