Job summary

Leica Biosystems is seeking an Application Consultant for the UKI region. The role is fully remote with up to 80% travel to customer sites, primarily in the South West, focused on post-sales training, demonstrations, and technical support for histology instruments and reagents.

You will conduct training, troubleshoot application issues, assist with assay optimisation, and contribute to tender responses and sales support while collaborating with the UKI Sales Team to grow reagent and product

Qualifications

• BA/BSc in Biomedical Science, Life Science or equivalent.
• Multiple years of strong experience in all areas of Histology.
• Knowledge of staining, tissue processing, sectioning and IHC techniques.
• Experience with histology instruments and reagents; troubleshooting and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Post sales instrument and software training for customers.
• Troubleshooting and assisting customers with application issues.
• Customer support with assay optimisation, validation and verification.
• Pre sales instrument demonstrations and tender responses.
• Support for Account Manager in customer meetings; assist at trade shows and conferences.
