Job summary

Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. is seeking an IT professional to join the Synergy Migration team, delivering migration services for Core/Hosted migrations and training customers. The role emphasizes training peers, preparing materials, and mapping customer processes to Jack Henry products.

The position requires 4 years in IT, SQL proficiency, and some travel. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Remote work is allowed with proximity to listed office locations.

Qualifications

• 4 years in an IT role doing application support, implementation or development.
• Travel up to 5% to attend JHA meetings, trainings, and/or professional conferences.
• Understanding of banking operations.
• Solid grasp of SQL queries.
• Moderate understanding of scripting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science or similar.

Responsibilities

• Provides training to less experienced peers.
• Prepares training materials and documentation for customers and internal users.
• Identifies/maintains customer issues and ensures proper resolution.
• Maintains effective communication with customer throughout entire project/case.
• Communicates the customer’s needs/expectations with programmers, other team members, and team leader.
• Provides software support/guidance by answering questions on functions, features and usage of software products.
• Oversees/performs system set-up for customer (i.e., parameter set-up, creates job files for processing, etc).
• Prepares the customer for the system migration, takes the customer through the migration process, and provides training or support to the customer post-migration.
• Analyzes the customer’s existing products/processes and consults with customer to map existing system to the JH product.
