Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Application Engineer for the Critical Power Projects team. This fully remote role allows up to 10% travel and is open to candidates in multiple states across the U.S. The salary ranges from $86,000 to $126,000 per year plus a variable incentive program.

You will interpret project specs, prepare proposals and cost estimates, and act as the technical liaison between customers, UPS manufacturers, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years in UPS/proposal writing.
• Associate’s degree with 3+ years in UPS/estimating.
• Five years of electrical contractor estimating or proposal writing experience.
• Must reside in the specified US states.

Responsibilities

• Interpret specs/drawings to develop technical solutions and assist Sales with UPS proposals.
• Lead development of cost estimates, pricing schedules, and milestones for projects up to $2M.
• Serve as technical liaison between customers, UPS manufacturers, Sales, and Project Operations.
• Review orders, coordinate handoffs, maintain project records and submittals.
