Groundswell is seeking an Appian Business Analyst to partner with Appian product teams and potentially engage customers to generate requirements for Appian applications. The role emphasizes collaboration with Product Dev Managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver MVPs and refined product features.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in business analysis, strong communication skills, and experience with use cases and Agile user stories.

Qualifications

Strong communication at all levels of an organization (written and verbal).
Detail oriented with experience managing multiple products concurrently.
Experience with use cases, Agile user stories, and process modeling.

Responsibilities

Define MVP with Product Dev Managers and supporting release plans.
Conduct requirement discovery, data modeling, and process redesign for BPM apps.
Lead discovery workshops with customer stakeholders to gather requirements.
Collaborate with Product Dev Managers and tech stakeholders to define new/enhanced product requirements.
Support prioritization of feature enablers within the product roadmap.
Create and maintain user stories with detailed acceptance criteria for developers and QA.
Work with teams to provide guidance on work items and sprint planning.
Refine requirements based on stakeholder input and sprint demos.
Prepare estimates for backlog items and support sprint planning.
