Groundswell is seeking an Appian Business Analyst to join our team, partnering with Appian product teams and sometimes engaging customers to gather requirements for Appian applications.

The role requires 5+ years in business analysis, a Bachelor's degree, strong communication, and the ability to work remotely with East Coast hours; US citizenship is required for security clearance if needed.

Responsibilities

• Define MVP with Product Dev Managers and release plans.
• Conduct requirement discovery and data modeling.
• Lead discovery workshops with stakeholders.
• Collaborate to define and prioritize product requirements.
• Prepare sprint plans and backlog estimates.
• Write user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Estimate effort for backlog items.
• Review and accept user stories.
• Identify risks and opportunities for process improvement.
• Design data models based on app requirements.
