Job summary

Groundswell is an agile technology integrator serving federal agencies with a strong focus on Appian. The Appian Business Analyst will partner with product teams and customers to elicit requirements and translate them into actionable user stories and designs.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s in Business/IT, 5+ years of business analysis, strong communication, and the ability to work remotely on East Coast hours. An active Secret Clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in performing business analysis and refining requirements for information systems.
• Strong communication at all levels of an organization (written and verbal).
• Detail oriented with experience working on several products at one time.
• Active Secret Clearance required.
• This position is remote with ability to work east coast hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support Product Dev Managers in defining MVPs and release plans.
• Conduct requirement discovery, data modeling, process improvement/reengineering, and BPM models.
• Conduct discovery workshops with customer stakeholders to collect solution requirements.
• Collaborate with Product Dev Managers and technology stakeholders to define new/enhanced product requirements.
• Author user stories with acceptance criteria for developers and QA.
