Job summary

Atlas Technologies, Inc. is seeking a skilled Business Process Analyst to design and implement complex process automation bridging Appian and PeopleSoft ERP.

You will map processes, translate requirements into functional specs for developers, enabling Appian interfaces to interact with PeopleSoft data and workflows. The role is fully remote for residents in AL, CA, CT, FL, GA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MD, MA, NC, OR, RI, SC, TX, VA, DC, WV, NJ with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Appian 5+ years hands-on with Appian 24.x+,
• DoD Secret level security clearance or ability to obtain one
• Strong BPMN and process-improvement knowledge
• Experience on Appian or other BPM/low-code projects
• Clear and detailed requirements documents and user stories
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication
• Appian Certified Analyst certification is highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct requirements-gathering sessions with business stakeholders and subject matter experts.
• Analyze and document business processes using BPMN standards.
• Identify process inefficiencies and automation opportunities using Appian capabilities.
• Translate requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with Appian Architects and Developers to design workflows, data models, and user interfaces.
• Support Agile delivery through backlog refinement, sprint planning, and clarification of requirements.
• Assist in creating test cases and scenarios; support system testing and UAT.
• Ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations and comply with organizational standards.
• Analyze and ensure processes and integration points align with PeopleSoft Modules and Appian workflow.
• Run workshops to drive clarity and consensus for functional and technical requirements.
• Produce process maps, user stories, functional specifications and technical guides with governance
