Job summary

Databento, a fully remote data provider, seeks a customer support engineer to assist users with API usage, onboarding, authentication, integration, and billing. You will escalate complex issues to L2/L3 and engineering while tracking reproduction steps and logs.

You will help identify common questions and contribute to improving our docs and onboarding materials. The ideal candidate brings at least 2 years in technical support or a related field, strong Python skills, and clear technical

• 2+ years experience in technical support, QA, or engineering.
• Familiarity with Databento's API and financial trading concepts preferred.
• Proficient in Python and strong technical communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for customer support inquiries, resolving issues related to API usage, onboarding, authentication, integration, and billing.
• Escalate issues to L2/L3 support or engineering with accurate reproduction steps and logs.
• Identify recurring questions and contribute improvements to documentation, FAQs, and onboarding materials.
