Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or training is a plus
• Willingness to obtain required state insurance licenses (provided and paid for)
• Strong communication and empathy in assisting customers in tough situations

Responsibilities

• Own your caseload and manage a backlog of claims with a diary system to ensure timely communication
• Investigate coverage and determine claim outcomes through in-depth research
• Communicate effectively with customers, monitoring and responding to needs
• Collaborate across departments to support team success and maintain compliance
• Develop knowledge of laws and regulations impacting claims handling
• Maintain active licenses in designated states and complete required continuing education
• Adapt to shifting priorities and take on additional responsibilities as needed
