Amica Mutual Insurance Company in Atlanta is seeking an entry-level Associate Auto Physical Damage (APD) Claims Representative to join our claims team. You will manage a caseload, investigate coverage, and communicate with customers while supporting cross-functional collaboration.

The role offers growth potential from associate to team lead, remote-work options up to two days per week after training, and a starting salary of $45,386 with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Willingness to obtain state licenses; company provides study materials and pays costs.
• Experience in insurance or claims helpful but not required.
• Experience providing customer support valued.
• Strong decision-making and empathetic communication.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proficient in Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Own your caseload and manage a backlog with a diary system for timely communication.
• Investigate to evaluate coverage and determine claim outcomes.
• Monitor claim-related communications and respond to customer needs.
• Collaborate across departments to foster teamwork and stay compliant.
• Develop working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
• Maintain active licenses and complete continuing education as required.
• Take on additional responsibilities to support team success.
