Job summary

SunStrong Management is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead the AP team in a remote, US-wide role. Responsibilities include supervising daily AP operations, vendor payments, data entry in FinancialForce, and month-end close with reconciliations.

The role emphasizes process improvements, intercompany handling, and strong partnerships with IT, Finance, and operations. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's in accounting and 5+ years AP leadership, with excellent Excel/Word skills and GAAP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in Accounts Payable with supervisory experience.
• Experience in high-volume AP and intercompany transactions.
• Strong Excel and Word proficiency; GAAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily AP operations and vendor payments.
• Manage data entry in FinancialForce and GL coding.
• Oversee month-end close, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Develop procedures to improve AP processes and controls.
• Build internal/external relationships and mentor AP staff.
