Job summary

Ensemble Performing Arts is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead the AP function across all Ensemble entities. This fully remote, full-time role focuses on supervising the AP team, ensuring accurate invoice processing, and managing vendor relations in NetSuite and Ramp.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of AP experience with leadership, strong Excel skills, and a solid understanding of AP controls and 1099 compliance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Accounts Payable experience, including supervision or leadership
• Proven ability to coach and develop a team in a high-volume environment
• Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and Ramp expense tools
• Solid understanding of AP controls, vendor master maintenance, 1099 compliance, and payment workflows
• Strong Excel skills (data validation, filtering, pivot tables)
• Clear, professional vendor-facing and cross-department communication

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and mentor Accounts Payable staff and prioritize workloads
• Oversee timely entry and payment processing of invoices in NetSuite across units
• Review invoice coding and payment batches; ensure data accuracy and bank account matching
• Resolve payment discrepancies and escalate complex issues as needed
• Maintain AP email queue and manage vendor inquiries and requests
• Oversee RAMP corporate card process and employee reimbursements, ensuring proper documentation
• Identify and implement AP process improvements and prepare related reports for leadership
