Job summary

Quest Diagnostics seeks an Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee high-volume AP operations, ensure timely, compliant vendor payments, expense processing, and card transactions. You’ll lead the AP team, drive improvements, and support audits with strong controls.

You will mentor staff, manage remote workers, and optimize workflows using SAP Concur, Cognos, and advanced Excel. A business degree and 2–5 years of supervisory experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of A/P processes and procedures.
• Strong organizational, leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines with attention to detail.
• Advanced SAP Concur Expense knowledge; Cognos reports; complex Excel data analysis.
• Experience in process improvement or automation.
• 2-5 years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounts payable operations including invoices, expenses, refunds, and customer service.
• Lead and develop AP team; manage remote staff.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate team on policies and procedures.
• Streamline workflows and optimize AP processes using system data.
• Oversee SAP Concur expense processing and policy compliance.
• Prepare AP and expense reports using Cognos and Excel.
• Maintain internal controls and SOC compliance; support audits.
• Resolve supplier payment issues and root-cause analysis.
• Provide guidance on travel and expense policies; training for new hires.
