Job summary

Builders FirstSource, America’s largest supplier of building materials to the professional market, seeks an Accounts Payable specialist to resolve exceptions and manage vendor invoicing. You will handle data entry, PO and Non-PO invoices, and escalation activities with accuracy and timeliness.

The role combines fast-paced problem solving with strong attention to detail and excellent customer service. Onsite training is required for 2–4 weeks, with remote work options available in the Dallas, TX

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 5+ years related experience.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Knowledge of bookkeeping or accounting practices.
• Experience with accounting software or ERPs.

Responsibilities

• Accurate & Timely data entry of vendor invoices and credits.
• Processes PO and Non-PO invoices.
• Perform electronic Statement Reconciliations via Excel & Open Receiver Resolution.
• Knowledge of PO Exception discrepancies.
• Ensure that all customer emails/calls are followed up on in a timely manner.
• Meets/Maintains Department SLA for acceptable processing volume.
• Meets/Maintains Department SLA for acceptable quality standards.
• Participate in monthly vendor meetings to discuss vendor statement account.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
