Job summary

Builders FirstSource, America’s largest supplier of building materials, is hiring for an Accounts Payable role in the Dallas, TX area with remote work options. The candidate will handle vendor invoices, PO and Non-PO processing, and reconciliation tasks while attending in-person meetings as needed.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and 5+ years in accounting or related fields, strong customer service, and experience with ERP/accounting software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 5+ years of related experience.
• Strong customer service skills, preferably call center background.
• Working knowledge of general bookkeeping or accounting practices.
• Experience with accounting software packages and/or ERPs.

Responsibilities

• Accurate and timely data entry of vendor invoices and credits.
• Process PO and Non-PO invoices.
• Perform statement reconciliations and open receiver resolution where applicable.
• Perform PO exception reconciliation where applicable.
• Ensure customer emails/calls are followed up promptly.
• Meet and maintain departmental SLA for quality standards.
