Job summary

Builders FirstSource, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Payable specialist to ensure accurate data entry of vendor invoices and credits. This role supports PO and Non-PO invoices, reconciliations, and timely follow-ups on customer inquiries from the AP desk.

The ideal candidate has strong customer service experience, a background in bookkeeping, and proficiency with accounting software and ERPs. Remote work in the Dallas area is available, with required in-person meetings as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 5+ years in related accounting/finance.
• Strong customer service; call center experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of general bookkeeping or accounting practices.
• Experience with accounting software packages and/or ERPs.

Responsibilities

• Accurate & Timely data entry of vendor invoices and credits.
• Processes PO and Non-PO invoices.
• Perform Statement Reconciliations & Open Receiver Resolution.
• Perform PO Exception reconciliation.
• Ensure that all customer emails/calls are followed up on promptly.
• Meets/Maintains Department SLA for processing volume and quality.
• Other duties as assigned; no direct reports.
