Amber Labs is seeking an Accounts Payable Senior Analyst to support reporting, analytics, and process governance across AP functions. You will develop and maintain dashboards, analyze spending data, support payment programs, and drive continuous improvement through documentation, audits, and reporting insights.

This fully remote role invites qualified candidates who can collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor teammates while ensuring accuracy and compliance in all AP activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 4–6+ years of Accounts Payable experience.
• Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes and internal controls.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms.
• Experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or comparable tools.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Accounts Payable reporting and dashboards to support operational visibility and decision-making
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of data presented in dashboards and recurring reports
• Monitor KPIs and provide insights into trends, risks, and opportunities
• Analyze payment and spending activity and assist with reporting, communications, and operational support as needed
• Support transaction matching, reconciliations, and finance-related projects
• Adhere to internal controls, audit requirements, and compliance standards
• Provide documentation and support for audits
• Identify root causes of errors or non-compliance and recommend corrective actions
• Serve as a subject matter expert for Accounts Payable systems and tools
• Identify process inefficiencies and participate in automation and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support user acceptance testing, system enhancements, and implementation of process changes
• Maintain process documentation, training materials, and internal knowledge resources
• Provide guidance and informal mentoring to Accounts Payable team members
• Assist with onboarding and training activities
• Act as a resource for policy interpretation
• Perform additional duties as assigned
• Partner with Procurement, Finance, Operations, IT, and vendors
• Communicate professionally with stakeholders and partners
