Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking an AP Payment Analyst to provide analytical and operational support for accounts payable, including data reporting, process improvement, and system initiatives. The role involves collaborating across teams to resolve issues and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.

The position emphasizes building dashboards, validating data, and coordinating initiatives from initiation through completion.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in accounts payable, operations, data analysis, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience with system implementations, data management, or process improvement is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, and strong computer and systems aptitude.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Critical thinking, sound judgment, and decision-making abilities.
• Familiarity with AI productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Claude) and willingness to adopt them.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and analyze spreadsheets, reports, and dashboards to monitor accounts payable operations and communicate progress.
• Track, reconcile, and validate accounts and data across systems for accuracy.
• Identify discrepancies and opportunities for improvement and communicate findings to management.
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements; drive root cause analysis and resolution.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute accounts payable initiatives and projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables.
• Support system implementations and manage data validation and user access across platforms.
• Serve as a liaison across departments to coordinate activities and communicate status to stakeholders.
