Job summary

TCA Health is seeking an AP/Payroll Specialist to join our Finance team in a remote capacity. You will support routine accounts payable, payroll processing (ADP), general ledger activities, and timely financial reporting for a not-for-profit healthcare provider serving Chicagoland.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of accounting experience in healthcare or not-for-profit settings, proficiency with Sage and ADP, strong Excel skills, and a commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and collaborative

Qualifications

• 2+ years accounting experience in not-for-profit healthcare.
• Knowledge of GMP and general accounting procedures for non-profit organizations.
• Proficient in Sage accounting software (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts.
• Responsible for preparation and maintenance of the General Ledger; journal entries and GL reconciliation.
• Responsible for monthly reconciliation of company bank accounts.
• Responsible for general accounting and patient service accounting.
• Responsible for preparing cash flow worksheet and account analyses.
