Job summary

E78 Talent is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Consultant to support invoice processing and PO reconciliation. The role emphasizes understanding of construction accounting dimensions and accuracy in coding and approvals.

The candidate will monitor the AP inbox, enter invoices in Sage Intacct, and collaborate with project managers to validate activity and resolve discrepancies. Remote work is supported nationally in the United States.

Qualifications

• Prior hands-on accounts payable experience.
• Experience with Sage Intacct, NetSuite, or a comparable midsize ERP system.
• Experience processing purchase order invoices and resolving invoice discrepancies.
• Familiarity with accounting dimensions and allocating expenses across projects, departments, or locations.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow-through.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate with project managers, vendors, and accounting staff.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the AP inbox, organize incoming invoices, and respond to vendor and internal inquiries.
• Review and enter vendor invoices into Sage Intacct accurately and promptly.
• Apply appropriate account coding and dimensions, including location, class, department, project, item, and cost code.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation, verifying amounts and quantities.
• Coordinate with project managers to confirm purchasing activity and obtain invoice approvals.
• Investigate and resolve differences between purchase order and invoice amounts, quantities, and pricing.
• Identify duplicate invoices, missing documentation, and other processing issues.
• Maintain organized records supporting invoice approvals and an accurate audit trail.
