Job summary

Affirm is seeking an Analytics Lead for Deposit Fraud Risk to own fraud performance for depository products. You will build data pipelines, define metrics, and develop dashboards to monitor losses, approvals, false positives, and customer friction.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, ML, Data Engineering, and Risk to refine identity verification, fraud rules, and product controls in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Analytics experience.
• Fluent in SQL and Python.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of payment processing risk and fraud trends is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own fraud performance metrics for depository products (losses, approval rates, false positives, customer friction).
• Build and maintain scalable data models and transformation pipelines (DBT).
• Develop dashboards, scorecards, and monitoring frameworks for portfolio health and risks.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, ML, Data Eng, Fraud Ops, and Risk to improve fraud strategies and product controls.
