Job summary

EDB is seeking an Analytics & AI Account Executive, Public Sector Sales to co-sell with PubSec Sales Account Executives, accelerate Platform and Analytics revenue, and drive opportunity generation. You will bridge domain expertise with tactical sales execution to engage government customers, close complex analytics deals, and enable the field with compelling value propositions.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of exceeding quota in enterprise technology sales.
• Experience selling Analytics, AI, data platforms, cloud, databases, SaaS, or related enterprise technology.
• Understanding of government regulations and security/data management for sensitive Public Sector data.
• Understanding of Public Sector customers and leaders and their cultures.
• Strong consultative and value-based selling skills.
• Demonstrated ability to create pipeline beyond inbound opportunities.
• Experience selling complex solutions to enterprise customers.
• Ability to engage credibly with senior technology and business executives.
• Strong discovery, qualification, negotiation, forecasting, and closing skills.

Responsibilities

• Co-sell alongside account and territory owners on active deals to progress and close Platform and Analytics opportunities.
• Design and execute targeted sales campaigns within existing accounts to unearth analytics opportunities.
• Act as the primary domain expert for the sales organization and keep AEs and field equipped with analytics messaging and competitive positioning.
• Work with account owners to align analytics solutions with broader territory strategies.
