Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Physician Practice in a primarily remote role. You will support an ambulatory clinic with triage, patient education, and care coordination while assisting physicians with examinations and procedures.

The position requires an ADN (BSN preferred) and current RN license with NCLEX-RN completion. Ambulatory nursing experience is preferred, with AMB-BC certification encouraged.

Qualifications

• ADN is required; BSN preferred.
• Licensed RN in current state; NCLEX-RN passed.
• Ambulatory/clinic nursing experience 1–2 years preferred.
• Ambulatory Care Nursing (AMB-BC) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients in person and by phone.
• Assist physicians with examinations and procedures.
• Administer medications and immunizations.
• Coordinate referrals, follow‑up, and continuity of care.
• Support population health outreach and care coordination.
