Job summary

Sentara Medical Group is hiring a part-time Registered Nurse – Physician Practice for a remote position focused on outpatient care. You will support the physician practice with triage, patient education, and care coordination across schedules from 8:00AM–8:00PM (Mon–Fri) and weekend coverage as needed.

The role requires an ADN, RN license, NCLEX-RN completion, and 1–2 years of ambulatory nursing experience; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• ADN is required; BSN preferred.
• 1–2 years ambulatory/clinic nursing experience preferred.
• RN license in current state and NCLEX-RN passed.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a physician practice or ambulatory clinic.
• Assess patients and assist with examinations and procedures.
• Administer medications and immunizations; triage by phone and in person.
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up with physicians and staff.
• Document care in the EHR; support population health outreach.
