Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a part‑time Registered Nurse for a Physician Practice in a remote-capable outpatient setting. You will assess patients, assist with examinations, administer medications and vaccines, and coordinate follow‑ups in a busy ambulatory clinic.

Ideal candidates hold an ADN (BSN preferred), 1–2 years ambulatory or medical‑surgical nursing experience, and an active RN license. AMB‑BC certification preferred; EHR documentation and population health outreach are part of daily

Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• 1–2 years ambulatory/clinic/medical–surgical nursing preferred.
• RN license in current state required; NCLEX-RN passed.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and triage in person and by phone.
• Assist physicians with examinations and procedures.
• Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments.
• Coordinate referrals, follow‑up, and continuity of care.
• Support population health outreach and education.
