Job summary

Sentara Health is hiring a part-time Registered Nurse for our Physician Practice/Clinic, in a remote-capable position. You will provide ambulatory nursing care, triage, education, and care coordination in a physician practice setting, supporting physicians and office staff.

The role requires ADN (BSN preferred), 1–2 years ambulatory or clinic nursing experience, and an active RN license with BLS. Responsibilities include triage, procedures assistance, immunizations, and EHR documentation.

Qualifications

• ADN is required; BSN preferred.
• 1–2 years of ambulatory/clinic or medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred.
• Current state RN license is required; NCLEX-RN completed.
• BLS certification required; AMB-BC certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and perform triage in person and by phone.
• Assist physicians with examinations and procedures.
• Administer medications and immunizations.
• Provide patient education and care coordination.
• Document care in the electronic health record and support population health outreach.
