Job summary

Cloudera is seeking a Business Value Manager in Colorado to translate data and AI capabilities into quantified business value. You will work with sales, product, and strategy to craft value narratives, model ROI, and influence deal structures for enterprise customers.

Responsibilities include leading value discovery, building TCO/ROI analyses, and engaging C-suite stakeholders to drive AI-native operating models. This role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration and scalable value frameworks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in value engineering, strategy consulting, or equivalent
• Experience driving customer engagements and cross-functional work
• Strong structured reasoning and quantitative analysis
• Excellent communication, distilling complex concepts into insights
• Hands-on deal/sales experience with enterprise deals
• Strong financial acumen and modeling (DCF/NPV/IRR)
• Ability to influence enterprise deal cycles
• Understanding of data platforms, AI/ML workloads
• Quantitative reasoning on AI cost drivers
• Experience using AI tools to support analysis
• Executive presence with CIO/CFO/CDO stakeholders
• Independent ownership in high-growth environments

Responsibilities

• Serve as value architect for strategic deals in a defined territory
• Own value-focused customer engagements and stakeholder mapping
• Embed quantified value narratives into deal strategy
• Engage C-suite to shape enterprise AI and data strategies
• Build CFO-grade business cases (TCO/ROI/NPV/IRR)
• Lead value discovery mapping current to future-state architectures
• Support multi-year deal cycles with commercial structuring
• Align architectures with sales, solutions engineering and product
• Lead global value initiatives and thought leadership
• Develop value frameworks and case studies with customers
• Represent Cloudera in executive forums on AI economics
• Scale analysis with AI tools and automation
