Job summary

Dual Logic seeks experienced technologists to serve as Forward Deployed Engineers on client projects. You will work directly with client teams to identify real problems, scope solutions, and implement them.

You’ll take over prototypes, adopt legacy code, and build new tools when needed. The role emphasizes shipping secure, reliable AI-enabled systems, with emphasis on multi-project availability and clear communication of trade-offs.

Qualifications

• Experience building production software with customer or business stakeholder interaction.
• Strong Python or TypeScript skills; comfortable using the other language.
• Experience building on LLM APIs: prompting, retrieval, tool use, and multi-step or multi-agent workflows.
• Solid backend fundamentals: PostgreSQL, API design, authentication, and deployment pipelines.
• Ability to explain technical tradeoffs to an executive in a concise way.

Responsibilities

• Assess client existing tech stack and tools, including prototypes and undocumented codebases.
• Take over and rebuild inherited systems, stabilize and move to better architecture with parity tests.
• Build AI applications and agents that plug into client systems.
• Recommend platforms and defend tool choices based on environment, budget, and skills.
• Design secure integration layers connecting AI tools to core business systems.
