Job summary

AZX is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to scope, build, deploy, and measure AI systems inside client environments such as utilities, real estate, and logistics. You will work across DevOps, data, frontend, and backend to deliver auditable, high-stakes AI solutions that meet business goals.

You will design solutions with client operators, run discovery, and demonstrate measurable improvements using numbers and baselines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack delivery experience.
• Experience shipping LLM/agentic systems to production.
• Experience deploying in enterprise cloud environments.
• Strong stakeholder and executive-readout skills.

Responsibilities

• Own client delivery end to end: discovery, design, build, deploy, handover.
• Build eval harnesses, replay loops, guardrails, and cost/latency budgets.
• Extract structured facts from documents and implement deterministic checks.
• Optimize pipelines for cost and quality, prove with replay harnesses.
• Define autonomy boundary for high-stakes systems and manage risk.
• Align KPIs, baselines, and instrumentation with client before deployment.
