Job summary

PartsBase Inc. seeks a senior Forward Deployed Engineer to scope, design, and certify AI-driven integrations for enterprise customers, running engagements from discovery through sign-off with Claude Code as the primary tool.

This remote, client-facing role requires leadership in technical scoping, end-to-end integration development, and delivery of reusable components and documentation for the platform. Fluent English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 10+ years building and shipping production software across backend, frontend, and integration.
• At least 5 years operating systems you built, on call and responsible for decisions.
• Direct experience in a billable consulting, professional services, or solutions engineering capacity.
• Proven production use of Claude Code with CLAUDE.md, subagents, skills, hooks, MCP servers, and Claude API.
• Fluent English; capable of leading customer-facing engagements.

Responsibilities

• Run technical discovery with customers and translate findings into scope, risk, and cost estimates.
• Partner with Sales on scoping and own the solution design.
• Build end-to-end integrations with Claude Code: agents and MCP servers, ERP, file ingestion, webhooks, data mapping.
• Certify work with parity against truth source, automated regression, and sign-off evidence.
• Create reusable verification tooling and parity checks for customer acceptance.
• Define testing approaches for agentic components and guardrails in customer environments.
• Serve as the primary technical interface, guiding security reviews and change control.
• Deliver documented handoffs, runbooks, and monitoring; contribute to core platform.
