Job summary

PartsBase Inc. is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to scope, design, and certify AI-driven integrations for enterprise customers.

You will lead engagements from discovery through sign-off, partnering with Sales and delivering end-to-end Claude Code integrations across ERP and third-party systems. The role is senior and client-facing, requiring deep experience with Claude Code, data reconciliation, and test automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years shipping production software across backend, frontend, and integrations.
• Experience in billable consulting, solutions engineering or client-facing roles.
• Evidence of Claude Code and AI integrations, not just years.
• Fluency in English and strong written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Run technical discovery with customers and translate findings into scope, risk, and cost estimates.
• Partner with Sales to scope the engagement and own the solution design.
• Build end-to-end integrations with Claude Code: agents, MCP servers, and connectors.
• Certify work with customer sign-off and automated regression checks.
• Develop reusable verification tooling and parity/cross-checks.
• Define testing for agentic components including prompts and permissions.
• Ensure security reviews and change control are completed before handoff.
• Deliver clear documentation, runbooks, and monitoring; hand off to operations.
