Veterans EZ Info Inc. (VetsEZ) is seeking an Applied AI Product Engineer for a 100% remote role supporting a federal healthcare modernization project.

You will work within EZLabs to build intelligent healthcare products that enhance patient engagement, care coordination, and claims management, leveraging Claude Code to develop, test, and deliver software. Join a fast-paced remote Agile team collaborating with product managers, designers, engineers, and clinical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with 1–4 years of software/full-stack experience.
• Experience using Claude Code to develop functional software products.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript for frontend and backend work.
• Experience integrating LLMs via APIs and AI workflows (RAG, prompt engineering).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and code-review skills.
• Strong communication and ability to work remotely in Agile teams.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and implement AI-powered features to improve patient engagement, care coordination, and claims management.
• Use Claude Code and related AI tools to build, test, troubleshoot, and maintain full-stack software products.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and clinical stakeholders in a remote Agile environment.
• Develop APIs, backend services, automation pipelines, and LLM integrations.
• Apply software engineering, DevOps, and MLOps practices to testing, deployment, monitoring, security, and performance.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies to improve product functionality and engineering workflows.
• Take on additional tasks to support team objectives and project success.
