Veterans EZ Info Inc (VetsEZ) is seeking a Senior Applied AI Product Engineer for a 100% remote position supporting a large federal government healthcare modernization project. As part of EZLabs, the AI innovation division, you will build intelligent healthcare products to improve patient engagement, care coordination, and claims management.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Claude Code, strong full‑stack skills in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, and a track record of delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with 5+ years of software/product development.
• Hands-on experience using Claude Code to build AI-powered software.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and JavaScript for full-stack development.
• Experience integrating LLMs via APIs and AI agents.
• Strong problem solving and secure, testable code.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement AI-powered features for user engagement and operations.
• Use Claude Code to build, test, and maintain full-stack products.
• Collaborate with PMs, designers, engineers, and clinical stakeholders.
• Develop APIs, backend services, and automation pipelines.
• Apply software engineering, DevOps, and MLOps practices across the lifecycle.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies to improve functionality and workflows.
• Take on additional tasks to support team objectives.
