Job summary

Supabase is seeking a Staff AI Platform Engineer to build the execution layer for internal AI systems. You will own the infrastructure end-to-end, implement a human review gate, and ensure robust logging and auditability across agent runs.

You will design governance-heavy workflows, tiered autonomy, and scalable contact mechanisms while delivering a production-ready platform for AI agents across the company.

Qualifications

• Shipped production LLM agent systems with real users and incidents.
• Designed evaluation frameworks with golden sets and safety criteria.
• Authored or worked with MCP servers and robust API layers.

Responsibilities

• Ship the agent platform to production, including an event-driven queue and a model-agnostic runtime.
• Own the evaluation layer with a written rubric and CI gates.
• Build and register the agent portfolio across multiple layers.
