Job summary

Supabase is seeking an AI Platform Engineer to build the execution layer for its internal AI systems. You will own the platform that runs agents with an event-triggered queue, a headless runtime, durable state, a human review gate, and full run logging for reconstructability.

You will also shape the evaluation layer, implement strong governance, and create a portfolio of agents across executive, team-lead and individual-contributor layers.

Responsibilities

• Ship the agent platform to production with an event-triggered queue and durable state.
• Own the evaluation layer with golden suites and a CI gate.
• Build and register the agent portfolio across executive, team-lead and individual-contributor layers.
• Enforce governance with least-privilege credentials, tool-permission gates, and a detailed audit log.
• Design how the system contacts people with a bounded interruption budget and useful prompts.
• Own the platform tooling including the compiler, validator, and inventory integrity.
• Compute operating measures from production data including a maturation ledger.
• Instrument the platform's return with a monthly ledger of absorbed work.
