Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is hiring a Model Risk Advisor (Remote) to promote governance practices and support the AI policies framework across the enterprise. The role focuses on maintaining model inventories, risk ratings, and metadata, while driving compliance with established standards.

You will collaborate with risk, audit, and AI teams to close gaps, monitor KRIs, and report governance metrics to leadership. Remote work enables collaboration across states and functions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Model risk management, risk, and audit.
• Knowledge of compliance monitoring and/or auditing principles.
• Knowledge of privacy, security, and AI Model governance standards.
• Ability to translate complex AI governance topics for varied audiences.
• Experience in deploying AI Model governance across a large enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Engage with the enterprise AI community to promote AI governance policies and practices.
• Maintain an inventory of AI/GenAI models including ownership, risk ratings and metadata.
• Assess model risk based on complexity, regulatory requirements, and business impact.
• Implement and maintain Model Risk Management frameworks, controls, and procedures.
• Monitor model performance, governance controls, KRIs, and policy compliance.
• Support model validation and testing by defining scope and documenting findings.
• Participate in AI governance oversight activities and risk assessments.
• Develop reporting and executive insights on AI governance and controls.
• Collaborate with internal teams, auditors, and external suppliers on governance docs.
• Monitor regulatory expectations and incorporate into governance practices.
