Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is hiring a Software Engineer III focused on AI/ML Platform Operations. Remote nationwide (excluding Hawaii and Alaska) with collaboration across Data Engineering, Data Science, Architecture and Security to support production AI workloads.

You will lead the operational excellence, governance and reliability of enterprise AI capabilities, focusing on MLOps, automation, observability and platform engineering across Palantir Foundry, AWS Bedrock and SageMaker.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software engineering, platform engineering, cloud operations or related fields.
• Experience supporting production cloud apps in AWS environments.
• Strong software engineering and automation experience with Python, Java, JS/TS or Node.js.
• Experience with CI/CD, Maven, Jenkins, GitHub Actions or equivalent.
• Experience with cloud-native services and observability tooling.
• Strong troubleshooting, incident response and RCA skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for AI/ML platforms like Palantir Foundry, AWS Bedrock and SageMaker.
• Ensure reliability, scalability, security and operational readiness of production AI workloads.
• Design automation, monitoring, dashboards, alerts and runbooks.
• Improve CI/CD, IaC, deployment automation and model release processes.
• Lead incident resolution, root cause analysis and cross-team coordination.
• Mentor engineers and influence platform strategy and governance.
• Stay current with AI/ML and cloud tech to drive continuous improvements.
