Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group (CSAA IG), a AAA insurer, is hiring a Software Engineer III - AI/ML Platform Operations - Remote to support production AI workloads. You will work with Palantir Foundry, AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, and cloud-native services, partnering with Data Engineering, Data Science, Architecture, and Security teams.

You will lead platform reliability, observability, governance, and deployment readiness, while driving automation, CI/CD improvements, and model release processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or DevOps.
• Experience supporting production cloud-based applications in AWS.
• Strong software engineering and automation skills in Python/Java/JavaScript/Node.js.
• Experience with CI/CD, build, and deployment tools (Jenkins, Maven, GitHub Actions).
• Experience with cloud-native services and observability/monitoring solutions.
• Excellent communication and technical leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operation, reliability, and governance of AI/ML platforms (Palantir Foundry, AWS Bedrock, SageMaker).
• Design automation, monitoring, dashboards, alerts, and runbooks to improve reliability.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and model release processes.
• Serve as a senior escalation point for complex production issues and drive RCA.
• Mentor engineers and influence platform strategy and adoption.
