Job summary
Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will hold live conversations with AI voice models, compare image and video pairs, and explain in writing what looked or sounded wrong, all remotely and on your own schedule.
As part of our evaluation loop, your work helps shape how advanced AI systems reason, learn, and improve. This freelance, 1099 contract opportunity offers flexible hours and the ability to work from home or while traveling.
Qualifications
- Fluent English speaker with strong, clear written communication.
- High attention to detail and ability to replay or zoom in to spot issues.
- Nice to have: Bachelor’s degree or above.
- Able to think on your feet and explain your reasoning clearly.
- Experience writing short, evidence-based reviews.
Responsibilities
- Holding live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models.
- Ranking how natural and useful each output sounds.
- Comparing AI-generated images and videos and judging prompt adherence.
- Inspecting outputs closely to spot distortions, flicker, or misalignment.
- Writing specific English explanations that point to observed issues.
