Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will hold live conversations with AI voice models, compare image and video pairs, and explain what’s off, all remotely and on your own schedule.

You’ll rate outputs across adherence, quality, and realism, write clear explanations in English, and help improve AI systems. This freelance 1099 contract offers flexible hours and pay up to $15 per hour with weekly payouts.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail; patient to listen closely and replay/zoom in.
• Nice to have: Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and describing realistic situations.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to make clear decisions when both options have flaws.
• Eligible to work in United States.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which one better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely, including zooming in and replaying, to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio mismatch.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a specific explanation in English that points to what you saw or heard.
• Image evaluations: compare two AI-generated images for the same text prompt and pick the better one, judging how well each follows the instructions and visual quality.
