Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will hold live conversations with AI voice models, compare image and video pairs, and explain what’s off in writing, remotely with flexible hours.

Contributors score outputs for adherence and quality, and provide written explanations that help improve AI systems. This is a 1099 contract opportunity with remote work worldwide and weekly payments.

Qualifications

Fluent English speaker with strong, clear written communication.
Excellent attention to detail and patience to look and listen closely.
Nice to have: pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.
Able to think on your feet and discuss realistic scenarios naturally.
Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
Able to make a clear decision when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which one better follows the prompt.
Inspecting outputs closely, including zooming in and replaying, to spot issues like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio mismatches.
Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a specific explanation in English that points to what you saw or heard.
