Job summary

University of Texas at Austin is hiring an AI Technical Implementation Analyst to partner with FAS units and implement AI-enabled solutions based on approved use cases. The role requires translating business needs into technical plans, maintaining tool proficiency (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot), and sharing templates for sustained adoption.

The position is fully remote, 40 hours weekly, exempt from FLSA, with an immediate start date and ongoing development opportunities within Technology Resources.

Qualifications

• Work experience in managing automation projects and in business analyst role.
• Demonstrated experience building, configuring, or deploying AI-assisted solutions in a professional environment, including hands-on use of tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Microsoft Copilot beyond basic productivity use.
• Demonstrated experience translating business requirements into technical specifications or implemented solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business processes, identify root causes, and design systematic solutions with experience applying structured problem-solving frameworks or methodologies.
• Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Solution Implementation and Deployment: work hands-on with FAS units to implement AI use cases and translate requirements into specs and plans.
• AI Tool Proficiency and Business User Support: maintain proficiency in Claude Edu, ChatGPT Edu, and Microsoft Copilot and assist users.
• Solution Sustainment and Knowledge Transfer: document ownership, support, and templates for reuse.
• ET AI Studio Liaison and Infrastructure Coordination: liaise with ET AI Studio and elevate platform gaps.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: participate in the FAS AI & Technology Community of Practice.
