Job summary

CrowdStrike Inc. is seeking an AI-forward patent prosecution leader to guide global IP strategy for its cloud-native cybersecurity platform. You will lead a team partnering with Product and Engineering to identify innovations, strengthen the patent portfolio, and modernize IP operations using AI.

The role focuses on building and protecting CrowdStrike's global IP assets, including trademarks and copyrights, with an emphasis on AI-enabled processes and responsible use.

Qualifications

• J.D. with bar membership and USPTO eligibility.
• 15+ years of IP experience including leadership roles.
• Proven experience identifying, prosecuting, and procuring software/SaaS/cloud/AI tech.
• Experience in trademark, copyright, and trade secret law.
• Ability to apply AI to IP workflows and governance.

Responsibilities

• Develop global patent prosecution strategy aligned with product roadmap.
• Identify mission-critical innovations with Product and Engineering in partnership.
• Decide on filings, continuations, and abandonments based on business value.
• Manage and coordinate trademark portfolio, clearance, and maintenance.
• Provide guidance on copyright ownership, policies, and open-source usage.
• Oversee budgets, outside counsel, and AI-enabled IP workflows.
