You will lead a team that partners with Product and Engineering to identify innovations and strengthen the company's patent portfolio while modernizing IP operations with responsible AI. The role focuses on building and protecting CrowdStrike's IP, including trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets, and requires deep expertise in software/IP within

Qualifications

• J.D. and active bar membership in the state of residence; in-house counsel eligibility; USPTO registered.
• 15+ years of IP experience including leadership.
• Experience prosecuting software/SaaS/cloud/AI technologies.
• Global patent portfolio management and jurisdictional filing strategy.
• Experience in trademark, copyright, and trade secret law.
• Demonstrated AI fluency to improve IP workflows and governance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a global patent prosecution strategy aligned with product roadmap and market indicators.
• Identify mission-critical innovations across CrowdStrike's products in collaboration with Product and Engin­eering.
• Make filing, continuation, and abandonment decisions based on business value and landscape.
• Oversee trademark portfolio, renewals, and related prosecution across jurisdictions.
• Advise on copyright ownership and protection for software and technical docs.
• Drive AI-enabled IP operations with governance and quality controls.
