Reporting to the VP of Legal, you will lead a team that identifies mission-critical innovations and strengthens the company’s patent portfolio while modernizing IP operations with responsible AI. This is a prosecution-centered role focused on building and protecting CrowdStrike's global IP assets; you will champion a new operating model where AI is a core

Qualifications

• 15+ years of IP experience with leadership experience.
• Experience identifying, prosecuting, and procuring software patents.
• Experience in trademark, copyright, and trade secret law.

Responsibilities

• Develop a global patent prosecution strategy aligned with product roadmap.
• Identify mission-critical innovations with Product and Engineering.
• Decide on continuation, abandonment, and maintenance based on business value.
• Use portfolio analytics to identify coverage gaps and guide investments.
• Manage global trademark portfolio across relevant jurisdictions.
• Advise on copyright ownership and protection for software and docs.
• Govern AI-enabled IP workflows with responsible use.
• Manage budgets and external patent counsel.
