Job summary

Lineage is seeking an AI Engineer - Finance to embed with our Finance organization and drive AI-powered improvements across controllership, reporting, and close processes. You will partner with CAO and finance leaders, teach teams to build and operate scalable AI solutions, and deliver high-impact AI initiatives that align with SOX-compliant controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in software engineering, applied ML/AI, or solutions engineering, with direct client-facing delivery.
• Experience with enterprise AI platforms such as Claude Enterprise, OpenAI (ChatGPT Enterprise), or other similar tools is a plus.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with modern AI/ML tooling (LLM APIs, agent frameworks, vector databases, RAG pipelines).
• Demonstrated ability to take a project from an ambiguous business need to a production-grade solution with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Embed with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to understand workflows and opportunities for AI-driven improvement.
• Upskill Finance team members to adopt AI tools effectively and identify new AI opportunities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to quantify use-case value, prioritize the engagement pipeline, and measure post-deployment impact.
• Scope, architect, and deliver end-to-end AI solutions from data ingestion to deployment and iteration.
• Ensure solutions support internal controls, auditability, and SOX compliance with appropriate human reviews.
