Job summary

Parallel seeks an experienced Controller to own accounting end-to-end as we scale a generational AI infrastructure company. You’ll build the team, define the close process, and establish policies for US GAAP and revenue recognition, including usage-based models.

You’ll oversee international accounting, audits, tax, and internal controls while partnering with finance, revenue operations, legal, and other functions.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of progressive accounting experience in high-growth tech.
• CPA with Big 4 background and a strong hands-on approach to problem solving.
• Experience with US GAAP, especially usage-based revenue models.

Responsibilities

• Own accounting end to end: month-end close, financial statements, US GAAP and revenue recognition, international accounting decisions, audit readiness, tax and statutory compliance, and internal controls.
• Build and lead the accounting team; set close process, chart of accounts, and core policies.
• Drive technical positions on usage-based revenue, compute commitments, and cost treatment; select core systems for accounting, finance, and revenue operations.
• Partner with finance, revenue operations, legal, and other functions as the company scales.
